The stars have finally aligned! I am so excited to finally be able to call Flagstaff home again. Although I will always love my Midwestern roots, I really enjoy the beautiful mountains and sunshine of Arizona. I was born in Stevens Point, WI and raised in Mankato, MN. I moved to Arizona at the age of 20 and graduated from NAU in 2003 with a degree in Microbiology and minor in Chemistry and Spanish. During college I also lived in Argentina for a semester abroad.
Since I'd become accustomed to not having that full-body numbness you experience in Minnesota about nine months out the year, I decided to continue my education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas to complete a Degree in Dental Medicine in 2008. Upon graduation I worked as a General Dentist with a wonderful dental team in Tucson, AZ. It was there that I became interested in dentistry for children. I wanted to be able to provide the highest standard of dental care for kids, so I went on to complete a Residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. I guess I just needed a taste of the cold again too.
I have worked with so many intelligent and caring people along the way. I have even had the opportunity to own my own practice, which has added to the level of care I can provide for patients. For me it IS all about the journey AND the destination. My husband, two kids and I are very excited to live in the community of Flagstaff. We enjoy the outdoors, fine-dining at kid friendly places, all things music and generally keeping our vibrations high!
